Spatial distribution of trace elements in coastal sediments of Ha Tinh province, Vietnam

Sediment compositions and trace element (Cu, Pb, Zn, Cr, Fe, Mn, As, Hg) concentrations were analyzed to assess the sediment quality factors affecting elements’ concentration in Ha Tinh province’s coastal sediments. Results revealed that of elements sediments was generally lower than other areas Vietnam. The significantly positive correlation fine composition with Cu, Fe indicated silt clay could absorb these elements. highly among suggested likely originated from similar sources. assessment showed limited values guideline (QCVN 43:2017/BTNMT). According Igeo index, not polluted by As but Hg Mn some sampling sites. Therefore, it is necessary invest future studies levels sites protect marine environment.
